Over the past few years, we’ve received feedback from our guests expressing interest in longer fishing charters…and we don’t blame them. Time flies by quickly when you’re having fun, and when fishing is hot, it is really tough to pack it in for the day. By far our most popular fishing trips, the 8hr fishing charters are a great way to experience an exciting full day on the river. The longer trip means extra time on the water and chance to hook more fish or get that trophy fish of a lifetime. These trips are extremely popular during our summer and fall fishing seasons, as they give you the extra time and flexibility to fish for multiple species during the same outing, such as ½ day sturgeon fishing and ½ day salmon fishing. The 8hr trips also offer you more variety and a chance to fish different rivers and see more scenery. More time, more variety, more fish…book an 8hr outing for that most memorable fishing experience!

6 HOUR FISHING CHARTERS
Our 6hr fishing charters are perfect for those who would like to get out fishing but have limited time in their schedule. They are also ideal for families with younger children who, as we know, can sometimes have a very short attention span. The 6hr trips are very similar to our 8hr outings, however, with the shorter allotted time for fishing, we tend to concentrate more on targeting one species in order to optimize our chances of having a successful outing. During our peak fishing seasons, we will target multiple species upon the guests’ requests.

Absolutely fantastic Sturgeon fishing with 188 fish landed including 3 over 8 feet and well over a dozen over 7. Everything ran like clockwork from start to finish. 18-19 (we lost count a little) sturgeon, in one day! One over 8 feet, several over 7, and the rest of them around 5-6! Don’t know what to say really. Thanks to my very professional guide Tyson who put me on to them all. Super nice guy with a lot of experience, it shows. Made the day. And Chris who won me over on the phone. There are other companies doing this, but while they lost themselves going on about statistics and reviews, Chris got straight to the FISHING. Being a fishing guide myself, I truly appreciate that. So take it from someone on the “inside”, these guys know what they are doing. A truly great experience. Thank you.

I have been fishing with the guy’s at Bluewater Rockies since 2009. It does not get any better than this – our group has never been disappointed and we keep coming back for more. The sturgeon fishing has been absolutely phenomenal… double headers of 6’+ fish, over 25 sturgeon hooked in one day, and a number of fish bigger than 8′ – WOW! These guy’s know their stuff! Our group will be back again next year!
